Composer, orchestrator, conductor and flutist, Hadrien Bonardo graduated in flute and in composition. After a Bachelor’s degree at Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, Switzerland, he was accepted at the National Superior Conservatory of Lyon, France, unanimously. He  graduated in 2018 in Gilles Alonzo's composition class. In 2018, he will study at the Royal College of Music, London for a Master in Composition for the screen, where he is a Clifton Parker Award holder.

He composed more than 20 scores for short films. His music for Tard dans la nuit, was heard in La Cabina, Valencia, Spain, the most famous medium-length film in the world. Finalist in Juan Gil soundtrack competition (2016), he won the best trailer prize in Aubagne International Film festival (2016, prize of the jury 2018). His orchestrations were played at Hanoi Opera House. He was chosen to represent France for the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) days in Beijing, in 2018. His music has been heard in film festivals in more than 20 countries, and on Television (ARTE, France-Germany).

 

Hadrien Bonardo is going to teach music theory and music analysis from september 2019 at the Conservatoire of Geneva, Switzerland.
